Northumbria keep it Semple

Despite their 62-45 loss at the hands of the unbeaten Hertfordshire Mavericks last night, Team Northumbria are remaining positive.

New Zealand Goal Attack Chiara Semple made her Vitality Netball Superleague debut last night after being forced to miss out on Northumbria’s opening two games.

The Newcastle-based side have lost their opening three fixtures but will have many positives to draw from playing against the league’s big guns, Manchester Thunder, Surrey Storm and Mavericks.

Next up is another tough fixture – Team Bath away on Friday 19th February.
