The London venue has become one of the iconic locations for netball in the country with several Roses internationals and the 2015 Grand Final played at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Vitality Netball Superleague, Interim General Manager, Ian Holloway said “Once again we are thrilled to take the biggest match in the domestic game to a fitting venue for what will be an incredible title decider. “We had a phenomenal crowd watch last year’s Grand Final and once again we anticipate a sell-out crowd at the Copper Box as one of the most exciting Superleague season’s ever staged comes to a nerve-shredding conclusion.” The format of this year’s finale will once again see the two losing semi-finalists battle it out for 3rd place before the two remaining sides fight it out to be crowned 2016 Vitality Netball Superleague champions. With four rounds of the 2016 campaign played, the race for a semi-final spot is still wide open and any of the eight franchises are in with a chance to make the Grand Final in May.
