Share British athletes Adam Gemili and Asha Philip were in Loughborough last night to watch Lightning’s 20-goal victory over Team Northumbria. Sprinter Philip (who is the cousin of the Corbin sisters) took two hundred metre champion Gemili to the Vitality Netball Superleague clash and he, in turn, experienced his first ever netball match. Both athletes train in Loughborough and are hoping to make Team GB for the Olympics in Rio.
