Lees commits future to Storm

Surrey Storm is delighted to announce that NPL graduate Georgia Lees has confirmed she will feature for the side in the 2017 Vitality Netball Superleague season. Lees, who made her senior debut during the 2013 season, has challenge the wing attack position since her arrival and made her breakthrough last season following the retirement of England legend Tamsin Greenway. The tenacious star graduated from Brunel University this summer and is excited to pull on a duck egg blue dress once again: "This new look Storm squad now has the chance to build some exciting side by side and go on this journey together, which I am really looking forward to." "I'm still very young and part of my decision was about playing at the best club for me and my development as a player - I think I have chosen the right club for that." Part of the back-to-back title winning squad, Georgia joins fellow Storm star Mikki Austin as the second player to return to aid Storm's defence of the title this season. With all squads submitted to England Netball this week, a stream of further signings will be announced over the coming week.
