Share Surrey Storm Netball can confirm that shooter Katie Harris will return to the club for the 2017 Vitality Netball Superleague season. Read the full Storm press release below: Harris sat out of the squad for the 2016 season to allow her time to focus on her undergraduate degree at the University of Surrey, where her sports scholarship allows her to also play for Team Surrey in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues. Before Katie’s break from the professional game, she played a regular part in the 2014 runner-up campaign and featured off the bench on numerous occasions to provide a reliable back-up for the experienced Storm attack. Harris continued to train alongside the full-time players during the 2016 season and will be looking to continue where she left off when Storm host Severn Stars at Surrey Sports Park in February.
