Share Surrey Storm is delighted to announce that shooter Megan Craig has signed for the club ahead of the 2017 Vitality Netball Superleague season. The 23-year-old Kiwi, who last played in the ANZ Championship for Northern Mystics, made the move to netball after an international basketball career for her nation. At 2m tall Craig will prove to be a tough attacker to handle in the Superleague this season, and has learnt her trade by playing alongside greats including Silver Ferns stars Maria Tutaia and Catherine Tuivaiti. Upon signing Megan said: “I’m very excited to have the opportunity to become a part of the Surrey Storm this season. “After hearing great things about the team and the club I couldn’t be happier to get over there and start getting to work for a great season this year. I’m super thankful to Head Coach Tania Hoffman for giving me this chance to represent Storm and giving our fans the best show of netball yet. “This year is definitely going to be a fun one and I look forward to meeting the girls on the team and all of our fans!” Related news post 18th Jul 2024 Causing a Storm: Surrey Storm's NSL history Reading: 12 mins Surrey Storm Previous Story Wasps Netball defeat Severn Stars Next Story Coleman and Nicholls to miss 2017 Vitality Netball Superleague season More News 2 days ago wpforms Event Accreditation – Netball Super League – Super Cup 2025 Reading: 6 mins 16th Dec 2024 News Manchester Thunder announce leadership team for 2025 Reading: 3 mins 6th Dec 2024 News The Netball Super League introduces the two-goal Super Shot ahead of new rules and innovations for the 2025 season Reading: 4 mins 25th Nov 2024 News Catching up with Nottingham Forest Netball’s Rhea Dixon as she makes her international debut Reading: 6 mins 21st Nov 2024 News Netball Super League confirms new Board of Directors to lead the League into the new era of professionalisation Reading: 4 mins More Google Ad – MPU – Right Column
