Vitality Netball Super League

There will be host of mouth-watering clashes in Round 7 of the Vitality Netball Superleague. Four of the five fixtures see the teams separated by a maximum of two places.

On Friday evening Team Bath will be looking to keep their perfect away record when they travel to Scotland and face Sirens.

The hosts have suffered from inconsistency this season which has halted their push for a top four sport. Meanwhile, Team Bath are one of three sides sitting on 12 points and the blue and gold currently occupy the final semi-final qualification position.

One team hoping that last week has re-ignited their charge to the Final Four are Severn Stars. A good win against Sirens in front of the Sky Sports cameras has them on six points.

They travel to winless Team Northumbria on Saturday knowing a win will give them real momentum. The home side need a first win of 2017 to kick-start their campaign.

Several high profile names in the Wasps squad will head back to Surrey Sports Park when Storm welcome them on Saturday night.

The 2016 Champions are undefeated this year and the return of some of last year’s biggest names will no doubt add some spice to this contest.

Two other familiar rivals do battle for Monday Night Netball in Round 7 as Hertfordshire Mavericks head to Manchester Thunder.

These two previous Superleague champions have clashed in several massive fixtures before and the hosts know a win will put significant distance between themselves and their opponents in the league table.

The action comes to a close in Cardiff as Celtic Dragons welcome a Loughborough Lightning side in red-hot form.

It’s a fixture which sees a perfect record face with an imperfect records. Dragons will be hoping to spring the surprise.
