Share The race to reach Manchester for the Final Four is firmly in focus as Round 16 of the Vitality Netball Superleague pits two rivals for qualification against each other. Sirens travel to Team Bath on Friday evening trailing their opponents by six points with three games of the regular season remaining. A win for the hosts would end the top four chances for the Scottish side while keeping alive the chances of the team blue and gold in their own battle to make finals weekend. The team in the driving seat are Surrey Storm as they hold narrow goal average lead over Bath in the table. In front of the Sky Sports cameras on Monday night they face an incredibly tough challenge in the form of Wasps Netball, LIVE from 7:45pm. It is a big game for the home side too as victory would guarantee them a place at Final Four and put them in pole position to clinch second place in the regular season standings. If results go their way, Manchester Thunder could also confirm their place at the season finale when they take on Hertfordshire Mavericks on Saturday. They sit six points clear of the chasing pack and look to be on a collision course with Wasps in the semi-finals. Mavericks had their top four hopes ended in Round 15 but are a dangerous side and would relish playing the role of spoilers. League leaders Loughborough Lightning take on basement side Celtic Dragons on Saturday evening hoping to continue a good run of form that has already guaranteed them a place at Final Four. Pride and positions are at stake on Friday night when Team Northumbria head to Severn Stars. A win for the visitors would see them leapfrog Stars in the table. With both sides falling short in the chase for the top four, they will be hoping to end the season on a high and continue building towards a stronger challenge next season.
