Shooting star Lynsey Gallagher re-signs to Strathclyde Sirens for her third Vitality Netball Superleague season. The 88 international capped player has a wealth of experience having been part of the national set-up for over 9 years, and has competed in major tournaments such as the Commonwealth Games 2014 and 2018, the Netball Cup in 2015 and 2019, World Youth Netball Cup in 2009 and 2013 – achieving the Players Player of the Tournament accolade (2013) – and also represented Scotland in the age-grade squads (U17/U19/U21).

Lynsey said: “I’m excited to work with a new group of players and management team to build upon and push on from previous VSNL seasons and really compete against the other teams within the league.”

“Being a Siren means playing a small part in the bigger picture by continuing to push myself to be the best athlete I can be to contribute to my team and our performances. I also want to continue to inspire, motivate and encourage women and girls to play netball and keep active.”
