A scholar at the University of Hertfordshire, she makes the switch to Mavericks from last year’s runners-up Wasps Netball. Gibson, who was part of the Vitality Roses’ gold medal-winning squad at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, joins from Severn Stars, where she was the club’s first-ever signing. The experienced defender has won 25 caps for her country and brings resilience, strength and power to Kat Ratnapala’s side. Discussing the signings, Director of Netball Ratnapala said: “I am elated to welcome Chloe and Jodie to complete our 2020 Saracens Mavericks squad. “These two players will not only be challenging for starting seven positions within the squad, they are both fantastic characters and bring professionalism, hard work and grit to complete our 2020 family. “Bring on the season, we can’t wait to get started!” You can watch Saracens Mavericks at the Season Opener 2020 – buy tickets now!
