Changes to Saracens Mavericks squad

Two additional training partners have been added to the Saracens Mavericks squad for the 2020 season - Phoebe Cadagon and Aliyah Zaranyika. The addition of these two players takes the Saracens Mavericks squad to 14, with 10 registered players and 4 training partners. The process that took place for these players being included after the signing window is as follows: • All correct paperwork and registration documents for these players had already been submitted by Saracens Mavericks to the league before the player registration deadline. • Due to internal administration error and miss-communication within Saracens Mavericks and subsequent communication with the league, these players were then withdrawn from the squad before the player registration deadline. • Once the player registration deadline had passed, Saracens Mavericks realised there had been a mistake and therefore contacted the league in an attempt to get the players reinstated. • The matter was referred to the league Competitions Committee who looked at all the evidence before deciding to reinstate the two players, in accordance with Section C Regulation 1.2.1 of the Superleague Rules and Regulations. • Saracens Mavericks were contacted and informed of the decision. • All franchises have now been contacted to inform them of the decision. Saracens Mavericks squad has been amended and now contains 10 players and 4 training partners for the 2020 season. This takes the number of registered players in the league to 148.
