Share With their third signing of the day, Vitality Netball Superleague (VNSL) side Saracens Mavericks announced that promising mid-courter Beth Ecuyer-Dale would be returning for the 2021 season. Ecuyer-Dale started playing netball at the age of nine and her rise through the ranks showcases her promising qualities. The 21-year-old started with Surrey Storm and represented their U19 NPL team at the age of 16. She then moved to Mavericks and promptly made her VNSL debut in 2017. She has only improved since her move to Hertfordshire and she made several appearances in the short-lived 2020 campaign. Her talents haven’t gone unnoticed at international level either. After making the U19 side, Ecuyer-Dale is now part of the Roses Futures programme alongside the likes of fully-fledged internationals Amy Carter and Hali Adio. The epitome of versatility, Beth continues to impress in every position that mid-court has to offer. Making court coverage and transition seem effortless, her timing, poise and speed will provide formidable support to the Mavericks in 2021. Ecuyer-Dale’s re-signing follows the earlier announcements that captain Sasha Corbin and the long-serving Steph Collard would both be returning. Earlier this week, news broke that ‘rookies’ Bella Baylis and Britney Clarke would be making the step up to the VNSL with Aliyah Zaranyika also recommitting after making her debut at the Season Opener in 2020. Last week, Mavericks made it known that a handful of Vitality Roses in Kadeen Corbin, Jodie Gibson, Razia Quashie and Gabby Marshall would also be staying in Hertfordshire next term. With more players to be revealed over the coming hours and days, be sure to keep your eyes peeled on social to find out who will be joining them for 2021.
