Share Today Strathclyde Sirens have welcomed a new athlete to their 2021 squad. Scottish Thistle and ex Team Scotland Badminton player Caitlin Pringle. Having only stepped on to the competitive netball scene in 2017, Caitlin has shown just what she’s capable of having secured her spot in the Scottish Thistles long squad and now the Strathclyde Sirens squad. Caitlin said: “I met Claire Brownie in Delhi at the Commonwealth Games 10 years ago, and it was in 2017 that I decided to let go of my badminton career and make the switch over to netball. I quickly trialled at my local club Bellahouston, then last year I trialled for the Thistles of which I was successful and now I’m lucky enough to represent Strathclyde Sirens for the new season which I’m super excited about. It’s all come full circle and I’m excited to be a part of a team alongside Claire and the girls. I’ve heard of how professional the set-up is at Strathclyde Sirens and I can’t wait to learn from my new teammates. I’m ready to get started now!” You can keep up to date with all the latest signing window news on our dedicated Transfers page or with our Twitter Moment.
