Kelk back for second season at Storm

Surrey Storm are thrilled to announce we have re-signed 22-year-old Ellie Kelk for the 2021 Superleague campaign!

The exciting young Goal Attacker made her Superleague debut in 2018, and broke into the Storm squad in our final game of the 2020 season against Manchester Thunder.

Ellie will join Karyn Bailey as Storm’s two returning attackers for the new season!

Delighted to be back, Ellie said: “I am excited to be back at Storm for another season and continue to build from last year and develop as a player.

“Everyone at the franchise is very supportive and I really enjoyed my first season here. I have missed being in our training environment over the past few months so its great to be back with all the girls.”

Mikki Austin added: “We are delighted to re-sign Ellie for another season at Surrey Storm.

“Ellie has worked incredibly hard over her tenure at Storm to recover from an ACL injury and come back to fitness before the 2020 season was cut short.

“Ellie will be a key member of the squad for 2020 and as a committed athlete who is calm under pressure I have no doubt she will excel this season.”
