Share Surrey Storm have secured the signature of Lauren Tait who joins the former Superleague champions from Strathclyde Sirens. The defender bolsters Storms squad as they head into deadline day with 3 places remaining in their squad. The 24-year-old makes the switch to SSP to add to Mikki Austin’s defensive options for the upcoming VNSL campaign. Tait was part of the 2019 Netball World Cup squad for Scottish Thistles. Delighted to be making the move to Surrey, Lauren said: “I am absolutely elated to have signed with Surrey Storm. “They are an amazing team and I am very excited to learn from the talented players and coaches!” Mikki Austin added: “We are delighted that Lauren has made the move from Sirens to Surrey Storm for 2021. “A Scottish defensive talent who was part of the 2019 Netball World Cup squad for Scottish Thistles, Lauren brings even more prowess to our defensive end.
