She caught the eye of Mikki Austin, who has added Emma to her attacking options for the upcoming VNSL season alongside Karyn Bailey, Ellie Kelk and Frankie Wells. Delighted to have signed, Emma said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Storm this year.It has been a big dream of mine to play Superleague netball and I can’t think of a better club to be playing at. I love everything Storm stands for and I can’t wait to see what we can do as a team this year.” Mikki Austin added: “New to Surrey Storm for this season, we are delighted to welcome Emma in to the duck egg blue colours for 2021. The Northern Ireland international Goal Attacker had a fantastic showing at the Netball World Cup in 2019 and showed she can deal with the pressure from some of the world’s best defenders.
