London Pulse join forces with iPRO Hydrate

iPRO have recently been announced as London Pulse’s Official Hydration Partner, in an exciting, new three-year partnership. As well as providing products for our Superleague squad, iPRO are also supporting Pulse community projects and supplying IPRO Hydrate – Healthy Drinks which will also be available to purchase on match days. This three-year deal is a fully comprehensive package, which includes the provision of reusable drinks bottles issued to players and a collaborative recycling programme to support sustainability.

This valuable partnership is something that will specifically support player performance and recovery after tough training sessions and on game day. Sigi Burger, Halimat Adio and Lindsay Keable had the opportunity to sample all four flavours of the iPRO Hydrate drinks range; Citrus Blend, Orange and Pineapple, Berry Mix and Mango.

South African shooter Sigi Burger commented “I’m definitely a big fan of the iPRO Hydrate drinks – I absolutely love them. The taste is amazing – it’s so good! It’s also low in added sugar which is important to me. My favourite flavour is berry mid and the mango one is also unreal”

Effective recovery is an essential part of any athlete’s training routine, and especially in netball, staying fully hydrated in the lead up to a game will give you the edge over your opponent when it really matters.

Lindsay Keable commented, “Netball is a sweaty sport so it’s great to have a refreshing performance drink that tastes really nice, it’s great to have loads of different flavours and lots of options to keep us hydrated during the matches.”

“Because we sweat a lot and exert a lot of energy during training and matches, our drinks need to be filled with electrolytes so we can replenish ourselves,” Hali said. “It’s so nice being able to drink it during and straight after a session and know that we have the drinks on deck ready to go.”

Superleague players have an extremely demanding schedule, and this means that it is crucial to be able to perform consistently and train at the intensity required for the elite game.

“We’re always trying to find the one percent-ers to really get ourselves to the next level and beat our opponent. It’s so important to have great products like iPRO Hydrate during a match to help push ourselves to the next level” said Lindsay Keable.

Feedback across the VNSL team has been very positive, Funmi Fadoju, Emma Thacker and Olivia Tchine are also enjoying the iPRO Hydrate drinks and mentioned how refreshing the flavours were and they have really supported their performance before, during and post pre-season training.

Recovery is a really important part of playing netball and is something that often gets overlooked. Netball is physical and demanding and it is important for all players to be fully hydrated and recovered in order to perform their best. This partnership with iPRO will support all members of the Pulse family to achieve optimum hydration and to perform at their best on and off the court.
