The Rise Again Festival will return to court this month when 12 teams take part in the now annual pre-season event. Fans will see every Vitality Netball Superleague (VNSL) team take to the courts in Manchester who will be joined by two elite men’s teams: Knights Men’s Netball (London) and Spartan Men’s Netball from Manchester. This event is live at Belle Vue in Manchester on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th December. You can also watch the knock-out tournament action live or stream from the comfort of your home. Performance Operations Director at Manchester Thunder, Tracey Neville, said: “We are thrilled to be hosting the Netball Rise Again festival in our home City of Manchester. This exclusive event is something that’s never been seen before in the UK. “It’s a real curtain raiser ahead of the start of the Superleague season and I’m excited that fans will be able to watch the event online if they don’t manage to get an exclusive seat in the venue! It’s really important to keep our game accessible to fans around the UK and indeed the world, we have so much great talent to exhibit! “The two day festival is a must for all netball fans and I’m so excited to welcome male teams to the tournament for the first time ever.” The festival will be a chance for fans to see the likes of Nat Haythornthwaite back on home soil for the first time in more than two years. It will also be a chance to see Former Australian Head Coach Lisa Alexander with new side London Pulse. The Rise Again Festival – sponsored by Kinetica K4 – game changing security locks – was born out of a lack of live sport during COVID-19. When it was live-streamed in December 2020, it was the first time in nine months that anyone had watched any live UK netball. This year, the live steaming is back but fans will also be welcomed to the Belle Vue. You can buy tickets or get a live stream pass to the second Rise Again Festival here.
