Share Boo and Anna Beckett go to nearly every London Pulse home game With London Pulse having their very first taste of playoffs, two super fans are looking forward to finally supporting their side at the Vitality Netball Superleague’s showpiece event. Boo and Anna Beckett have been attending the Grand Final for a number of years but will now see the pink and black of Pulse on court on Sunday. The duo attend nearly every home game at the Copper Box and can’t wait to see their young stars in action on the biggest stage yet. “It’s great that we’re supporting our team for once – normally we go to the Grand Final and Pulse aren’t there but this time they are, so it’s absolutely marvellous,” said Boo. “It should be an amazing atmosphere and we’ll be there watching whoever is playing and will be supporting the underdog whoever that is,” added Anna. “The more people that can get down there the better. The louder it is, the better for the teams.” “That was beautiful” 😍 🗣 Funmi Fadoju with a 10/10 interception 👌 pic.twitter.com/GpJs5WmDZu — Sky Sports Netball (@SkyNetball) June 3, 2022 Sunday at the Copper Box, where Pulse will play Team Bath, will come at the end of an exhilarating season for Pulse, who have been the breakout stars of the 2022 season and Boo and Anna believe that further surprises are to come. Pulse came the closest of any side to beating Manchester Thunder in Round 19, and the pair are believe it is a sign of things to come for Sam Bird’s young stars. “We did not think that we would be this good this quickly,” said Boo. “To get in the top three already has really taken us by surprise but it’s been a really good journey. “The loss against Manchester drew so many positives because the first two quarters we were beating them, we were outplaying them. “The crowd got loud and a few of the youngsters got a bit nervous – and understandably – but we got so many positives from that because, in time, they won’t get nervous anymore and those two quarters will turn into four quarters. “It won’t be long before we start beating the likes of Manchester Thunder.” Neil on the 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙘𝙝! 🔥 Youngster Berri Neil used all of her athletic ability to keep that one in 👏 Watch her @Pulse_Netball side take on @LboroLightning LIVE on @SkySports Action 📹 pic.twitter.com/v3zGY9sS7M — Vitality Netball Superleague (@NetballSL) June 3, 2022 Sunday will mark a real step forward for Pulse and both Boo and Anna are looking forward to the future of the pink and black both on and off the court. “It’s not just about playing netball, it’s great for the social life as well. It adds a lot to your life,” added Boo. “Getting over a thousand people has been really good and the Copper Box is a great place to go and watch as well. “If you’re going to go and watch a netball game, that’s the place where everyone wants to go and the players want to play. “The more people you get there, the better the atmosphere is. It’s really good that we’re inviting along schools as well, and having youngsters see the people who they can emulate later on in life. “The crowds are rising and the atmosphere is brilliant. It’s really improving, the way it’s run is a lot better now – it really is a good day out. “It’s enjoyable, the players will come and talk to you after the game. When you’re a part London Pulse, you’re actually a part of it, you’re part of the whole atmosphere, the whole project. “They value the fans, they value your opinion. They really do make you feel like you belong to it.” Follow @NetballSL on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok or subscribe to our newsletter for the latest Vitality Netball Superleague news.
