Share This weekend we celebrate our league’s international diversity through our themed round – Show Your International Colours. The Netball Super League is the most internationally diverse elite netball league in the world. Spread across four continents, players from over 12 countries compete in the UK’s top tier. This includes the likes of Ugandan shooter Proscovia Peace, Trinidad & Tobago defender Shaquanda Greene-Noel and New Zealand player-coach Jo Trip. What will be happening Leading up to rounds eight and nine we will shine a spotlight on some of the outstanding international players part of the NSL. As well as this, we will look back at some of the incredible names who have featured in the league before. Across our social channels, we will transform our Get Some Net graphics using the vibrant colours of countries that are represented in the league. Clubs across the league are inviting fans to join them in celebrating their international talent. Venues will be decorated with international flags and a host of clubs will be putting on special entertainment throughout their games. This includes playlists with music from countries across the world, interviews with players and themed drinks – just to name a few! Fans are encouraged to join in and come wearing the colours of the nations they represent or of their favourite players and the country they play for. Come and show your support If you’re attending a match this weekend, check in with your club to see how they’re getting involved in this themed round! Tickets to all home games can be found here. Don’t forget, Friday Night Netball returns on Sky Sports. This week, the cameras are at the Allam Sports Centre in Hull where Leeds Rhinos go in search of their first win of the season against Severn Stars. Across the two sides, there are players from eight different countries with talent at both ends of the court. Tune in on Sky Sports Action, Mix and YouTube at 7pm.
