Third-place play-off – Surrey Storm vs. Manchester Thunder – FCP 14:00

Before the final gets underway, we start with the third-place play-off between Surrey Storm and Manchester Thunder.

In their semi-final against Pulse on Friday night Storm started strong and went into the break just two goals down. But similar to their past two meetings, Storm fell away in the third quarter as the league leaders kicked on to win the second half 30-19.

Meanwhile, at the Sir David Wallace Arena, it was an incredibly tense affair. The reigning champions trailed after the first quarter but fought back to take a half-time lead.

Despite the emerging presence of returning defender Shadine van der Merwe, Lightning shooter Mary Cholhok was too strong for the Thunder defence and came out firing with 56 goals to help the hosts to victory.

The teams come into the third-place play-off with one win each against each other.

Storm ended Thunder’s 24-game unbeaten run, stretching back from the 2021 semi-final, in Round 2 but Thunder got their revenge later in the season at Belle Vue where they prevailed with an eight goal win.

Tune in to the first game of the day from 13:45.

Grand Final – London Pulse vs. Loughborough Lightning – FCP 16:15

It all comes down to this! The one we’ve all been waiting for. The Grand Final.

In their semi-final against Surrey Storm on Friday night, London Pulse held their nerve to overturn a first quarter deficit and runaway with an emphatic second half win. Vitality Rose Funmi Fadoju won the Gilbert Player of the Match after recording an astonishing 19 deflections!

For Sam Bird’s side this has been their best ever season in the NSL. Not only have they qualified for the Final Four for a second successive season, they finished top of the table for the regular season.

Standing in their way of a first NSL title is one of the league’s founding members, Loughborough Lightning.

Into their third successive final, Lightning come into the final as the highest scorers and on a high following a win over the reigning champions.

Defensive duo Fran Williams and Alice Harvey put Thunder shooter Lenize Potgieter under continuous pressure. They will need to the same again to stop Olivia Tchine who is enjoying her best-ever season in a Pulse dress.

Watch the Grand Final from 15:45 on Sky Sports Arena, Mix and YouTube (UK only).
