Trinidad and Tobago Athletes Selected for Netball World Cup

24.02.23 - Celtic Dragons vs Severn Stars - Vitality Netball Super League -

Trinidad and Tobago have announced their squad who will be travelling to South Africa for the 2023 Netball World Cup.

Amongst the 12 is Netball Super League and Celtic Dragons star, Shaquanda Greene-Noel.

Shaquanda had a fantastic 2023 NSL season, coming second on the intercepts leaderboard, taking a total of 63 this season.

The defender also managed turn over 114 balls across 20 rounds, just one less than Strathclyde Sirens and Malawi athlete, Towera Vinkhumbo who is at the top of the leaderboard. Greene-Noel also made 75 deflections in total.

As well as her defensive spectacles, Greene-Noel is also best known for her celebratory dance moves, ones to definitely watch out for this summer!
