Share Ellie Gibbons will remain at Surrey Sports Park for the 2024 season after joining Storm as a Training Partner in 2023. Playing the goal attack/wing attack position in duck egg blue as a training partner last season, Surrey Storm have elevated Ellie Gibbons into their squad of 12 for the upcoming season. The 28-year-old previously played for Wasps and Severn Stars before making the move to Surrey Sports Park in 2023. On staying at Storm for the 2024 season, Gibbons said: “Storm was my first franchise netball team, so I’m thrilled to be back training in the Storm environment with an exciting group of girls.” Head Coach, Mikki Austin said: “We are incredibly pleased to welcome Ellie back to Surrey Storm in 2024. “As a training partner last year Ellie has worked tirelessly within our environment to develop her craft and now has earned an elevated contracted spot. “Ellie has a fantastic work ethic and attitude, which aligns with what we are building here at Storm.
