Share Surrey Storm have announced the signing of versatile international Goal Keeper and Goal Shooter Haniisha Muhammed. Muhameed was a part of the Uganda She Cranes squad which took part in the 2023 Netball World Cup in South Africa. The 24-year-old joins the Surrey-based side with plenty of international experience having also at last year’s Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and in the international test series with the England Vitality Roses last autumn. On joining Surrey Storm, Muhammed said: “I’m really excited to be making the move to the UK and playing at Surrey Storm. It’s a fantastic opportunity and I can’t wait to get started!” Head Coach, Mikki Austin added: “We are delighted to announce the signing of Haniisha to Surrey Storm in 2024; a tenacious Ugandan She Crane, who showed her prowess at the Netball World Cup this summer. “Haniisha will bring a dogged tenacity and ball winning ability to our defensive end which we look forward to working with an integrating into the Netball Super League here in the UK.” You can keep up to date with all the 2024 squads and signings here.
