Five things we loved at the Netball Super League Grand Final

The Netball Super League (NSL) Grand Final undeniably delivered on the court, with London Pulse narrowly defeating Severn Stars in the third-place play-off, followed by Loughborough Lightning taking an emphatic victory over Manchester Thunder to be crowned NSL 2024 Champions.

With over 8,700 tickets sold, Birmingham Resorts World Arena welcomed a record-breaking crowd for an NSL Grand Final, and there were plenty of highlights beyond the on-court action for fans to get involved in.

Read on for a roundup of everything that was on offer for fans visiting the arena on Saturday.

Experience Kissimmee brought the sunshine

Experience Kissimmee brought the sunshine to Birmingham with their green screen netball experience. Fans were able to shoot a goal on a green screen backdrop which was then captured on a magnet to take home!

Giveaways galore with Collection and Witch Skincare

Collection Cosmetics and Witch Skincare also came to join in the fun, bringing with them thousands of make-up products for fans and players to take home for free! The Forum at Resorts World Arena was buzzing with fans eager to get their hands on the latest products, such as the Witch refreshing gel cleanser and daily blackhead clearing scrub as well as Collection’s Mile High mascara, Vit Hit lip oil and Filter Finish liquid blush. Players from each of the top four teams were also gifted a bag full of goodies from Collection and Witch Skincare to take home and try out.

All eyes were also on the crowd during Collection’s selfie frame moment on the big screen where photos taken of fans in the crowd were shown to the whole arena in a special Collection selfie frame that celebrated their new Eyes On Me mascara.

The return of the Gilbert Cannon

There were more giveaways on offer from Gilbert, who placed their Gilbert Cannon in the safe hands of Jodie Gibson to fire out goodies including hats, socks and tops to fans around the arena.

The British Army brought some extra competitive spirit

After attending the Season Opener in February, the British Army retuned to the NSL Grand Final and brought out the competitive side of fans with their Batak Wall. Fans were challenged to test their reaction times by hitting different targets as soon as they lit up, and it’s no surprise that there were some impressive high scores achieved! The British Army also brought a selfie frame along with them, ensuring fans had plenty of opportunities to take lots of snaps to remember the day.

A chance to stock up on merchandise

Finally, throughout the day, the Resorts World Arena concourse was full of merchandise stands offering fans of the top four NSL Clubs the chance to stock up on their latest must-have items. From bucket hats to replica training tops, there really was something for everyone.
