What you may have missed last week

Over the last week, social media has been a getaway for many as we have been inundated with home fitness workouts, netball challenges and positive stories and messages as the netball family come together to find a way through the next few weeks.

We’ve pulled together some of the best bits, things you may have missed or even bits you might just want to see again.

#MakeThatCall

Wasps Netball have brought the Make That Call campaign to netball and have been making calls to the netball family and their season ticket holders in particular. It has never been more important to stay connected and the Make That Call campaign does exactly that.

The Atkinson Challenge

Strathclyde Sirens Director of Netball Karen Atkinson has been at her home in Italy with the family and finding creative ways to stay entertained. A series of challenges have been posted to twitter with her two children staying active and competing throughout this time. Why not use this as inspiration for your own challenges at home?

The Surrey Storm Shooting Challenge

In the absence of Superleague netball, Surrey Storm launched a 16 person shooting challenge and began accepting entries from Superleague and NPL players. Upon filling the tournament, the draw was launched and all players have until the evening of Monday 24 March to submit their first round.

Cardwell v Bruno

In preparation for Surrey Storm’s shooting challenge, Eleanor Cardwell managed to bring in a specialist defender to help with her practice. Bruno managed to put enough pressure on Cardwell to briefly put her off her stride but the three-time Superleague winning Vitality Rose was quick to regain her form.

The Dragons workout

Celtic Dragons shared what an early morning session looks like for their players. You can hear from Superleague Head Coach Tania Hoffman and the side Strength and Conditioning Coach.
