Netball Super League | Strathclyde Sirens welcome back Niamh McCall for the 2021 season

Vitality Netball SuperLeague Opener 2020

Niamh McCall, one of Strathclyde Sirens younger players, returns to the club for her third Vitality Netball Superleague Season.

Niamh joined Strathclyde Sirens in 2018 at just 18 years old, but despite being early on in her netball career Niamh has already been part of the U21 World Youth Cup team that achieved 8^th in the World, represented Scotland at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and at the 2019 Netball World Cup in Liverpool. Niamh is also a Performance Scholar at the University of Strathclyde studying a degree in Sports Engineering, currently in her third year of study.

McCall featured in all three Sirens game before the 2020 season was halted due to the outbreak of Covid-19.

Niamh McCall said, “I can’t wait to get back on court with the girls and get our pre-season training underway. With last season ending in a way that none of us imagined, I’m ready to get back to business and pick up where we left off with a brilliant team. I’m also so grateful for the continued support from the University of Strathclyde where I can continue to balance and progress my education and netball career. Bring on the new season!”
