Share Surrey Storm have announced the signing of starlet Emily Gulvin for the 2021 Superleague season. The 23-year-old has grown from strength-to-strength during her three seasons in duck egg blue – making the jump from the Storm NPL squad to the Superleague. Establishing herself as a key part of Mikki Austin’s team, Gulvin will be looking to continue her impressive start to her career in the 2021 campaign. Emily joins Mikki Austin and Yasmin Parsons once again for the new season – ensuring the core of Surrey Storm remain in place for another year. Thrilled to have re-signed, Gulvin said: “I’m really excited to have signed with Storm for another year. I’ve really missed training and playing these last few months so I couldn’t wait to be back!” “I love working with Mikki and our other coaches and I’m keen to keep developing as a player and see us continue to develop as a team. The team environment at Storm is always positive, supportive and challenging and I’m looking forward to building on previous relationships. Another amazing part of playing for Storm is the fans. They are so supportive and dedicated and I can’t wait to be playing in front of our home crowd again soon!” Mikki Austin added: “Emily Gulvin offers us such a dynamic and speedy option in the midcourt so we are so excited to resign her for next season and beyond. As someone who has been part of Surrey Storm’s NPL system and seen her playing career all the way through to the Superleague, Emily is the epitome of what our programme is all about – hard work, dedication and resilience.” Related news post 16th Dec 2024 Manchester Thunder announce leadership team for 2025 Reading: 3 mins Manchester Thunder Related players: Emily Gulvin Tags: 2021 Signing Window VNSL 2020 Previous Story Rudland moves to Celtic Dragons from Team Bath Next Story Strathclyde Sirens retain Lynsey Gallagher for 2021 More News 20th Dec 2024 wpforms Event Accreditation – Netball Super League – Super Cup 2025 Reading: 6 mins 16th Dec 2024 News Manchester Thunder announce leadership team for 2025 Reading: 3 mins 6th Dec 2024 News The Netball Super League introduces the two-goal Super Shot ahead of new rules and innovations for the 2025 season Reading: 4 mins 25th Nov 2024 News Catching up with Nottingham Forest Netball’s Rhea Dixon as she makes her international debut Reading: 6 mins 21st Nov 2024 News Netball Super League confirms new Board of Directors to lead the League into the new era of professionalisation Reading: 4 mins More Google Ad – MPU – Right Column
