London Pulse CEO and Head Coach Sam Bird said: “I’m delighted to have brought Lisa to London Pulse. Her reputation speaks for itself but what excites me the most is Lisa’s growth mindset and how closely aligned her vision of developing world class athletes is to ours. She has worked at every level of the game and believes in the important of working with athletes from the start of their journey to the top of their sport.
“I’ve mentioned many times before that the talent that exists in London and the surrounding areas is exceptional – bringing Lisa to the club will enable us to provide a platform for that talent to thrive and achieve their true potential – including many representing England and other nations at top level in years to come.”
Lisa Alexander commented on the move: “I am excited, delighted and truly grateful for this opportunity to lead the strategic performance program, and coach, at a club I have greatly admired from afar, London Pulse. The ability to work with such a tight knit professional club, a huge pool of talented athletes and coaches, and with Sam Bird as CEO/Head Coach, was an offer too good to refuse.”
