Wasps shooter Gezelle Allison has been selected in Jamaica’s squad to face the Vitality Roses in the Vitality Roses Reunited Series later this month.

The 15-strong squad go up against hosts England in a three-match test series on Saturday 28 November, Saturday 4 December and Sunday 5 December in London and Nottingham.

Allison scored 99 goals in her debut Vitality Netball Superleague (VNSL) season in 2021 and caught the eye with her ambition and flair inside the shooting circle alongside Rachel Dunn.

The Jamaican international will return to Wasps next season, the club announced during the 2022 Signing Window. You can watch her take on Saracens Mavericks and Strathclyde Sirens at Season Opener 2022 by buying tickets here.

A host of former VNSL players will also feature. Adean Thomas and Malysha Kelly both played in the Superleague in 2021 while the likes of Shamera Sterling and Latanya Wilson are also included.

Ex-Celtic Dragons shooter Rebekah Robinson and former Severn Stars player Jodi-Ann Ward have each been classed as unavailable for the series.

This will be the first time Jamaica have faced England since the Vitality Netball Nations Cup in January 2020 when the Sunshine Girls made the final at the expense of the Vitality Roses, beating them by four goals.

It was the latest in a history of enthralling games between the two nations but who will come out on top this year? You can still buy tickets via England Netball here.

Vitality Roses Head Coach Jess Thirlby, meanwhile, announced her latest England squad last week. Eleven Superleague players feature in the 16-strong Vitality Roses team while a host were also included in England A and Development squads.
