The Vitality Netball Superleague returns tonight with a packed schedule of Round 16 and catch-up fixtures.

Manchester Thunder reached new highs last week after breaking the VNSL record of most goals scored in a single game – 88.

And they won’t be stopping there, seeking to continue their dominant run of 15 wins on the bounce.

Round 16 has high stakes for both Saracens Mavericks and Team Bath Netball who are in a battle for a top four spot and the two meet in a rescheduled Round 10 clash for points on Monday.

Rescheduled matches:

Leeds Rhinos v Loughborough Lightning, Round 1&2, Friday 7pm

The first of the catch-up fixtures gets underway between Leeds Rhinos and Loughborough Lightning as they finally play their Round 2 match.

Rhinos go into the game off the back of a 57-52 loss to Wasps and will be looking put some pressure on top two team Loughborough.

A hit and miss season sees Rhinos sat in seventh, joint on 18 points with Surrey Storm while Loughborough are comfortable in second with 39 points.

The rescheduled fixture will be held at Allam Sports Centre, and you can watch the highlights on the VNSL YouTube channel.

Team Bath Netball v Saracens Mavericks, Round 10, Friday 7.30pm – live on Sky Sports YouTube

Team Bath Arena – buy tickets here

Rearranged from Round 10, Team Bath Netball face Saracens Mavericks in a battle for a top four spot at the Team Bath Arena.

Both teams currently sit on 24 points with Saracens in fifth and with a game in hand.

A defining match-up, centre pass it at 7.30pm and you can watch live on the Sky Sports YouTube channel.

Strathclyde Sirens v Severn Stars, Round 10, Monday 5pm

The last of the rescheduled fixtures is on Monday between Strathclyde Sirens and Severn Stars.

Stars are currently last in the table with just six points and will be wanting to secure a win against the Sirens who have four wins under their belt.

Both teams will have already played their Round 16 fixtures before they meet at the Emirates Arena.

Severn Stars v London Pulse, Round 16, Saturday 6pm – live on Sky Sports YouTube

University of Worcester Arena – buy tickets here

The TV cameras are abuzz at the first match of Round 16 as Severn Stars host London Pulse at the University of Worcester Arena.

With Stars currently sat at the bottom of the table and Pulse on 30 points in third, a home game might be what Stars need to get back in the race for the top eight.

Pulse will be looking to bring the energy as a young team looking to threaten Manchester Thunder and Loughborough Lightning at the top.

Surrey Storm v Strathclyde Sirens, Round 16, Saturday 6pm

Running side by side, Surrey Storm welcome Strathclyde Sirens to the Surrey Sports Park at 6pm on Saturday.

Storm come back ready and rested after a week off in Round 15 and with only 6 points separating the two in the table, it has the makings of a cracker.

A win for Sirens would open up some breathing space from Wasps who are just behind them in the table.

Wasps v Surrey Storm, Round 16, Sunday 4pm – live on Sky Sports YouTube

Coventry Building Society Arena – buy tickets here

Storm are back on Sunday and live in front of the cameras as they face Wasps away at Coventry Building Society Arena.

With two wins on the spin, a win against Wasps would propel them further ahead of Rhinos in the table.

Wasps are currently in ninth and come into the match with a confidence after a five-goal win over Leeds Rhinos in Round 15.

Manchester Thunder v Team Bath Netball, Round 16, Monday 5.30pm – live on Sky Sports Mix/Arena

Top team Manchester Thunder welcome fourth-placed Team Bath Netball live on Sky Sports on Monday night.

Belle Vue will play host to a high-level netball game as both teams come into the fixture on the back of wins.

Manchester are yet to lose a match this 2022 season and will want to put on a show in front of a home crowd.

Centre pass is at 5.30pm and the game will be live on Sky Sports Mix/Arena.

Saracens Mavericks v Loughborough Lightning, Round 16, Monday 7pm

The second Round 16 match-up of a bank holiday Monday will take place between Saracens Mavericks and Loughborough Lightning at Hertfordshire Sports Village.

Mavericks did not play last week following their 53-46 defeat to London Pulse in Round 14.

Loughborough are currently second in the table with 39 points, 6 points behind leaders Manchester Thunder.
