Round 17 of the Vitality Netball Superleague kicks off tonight with double fixtures for both Leeds Rhinos and Celtic Dragons.

Rhinos begin a big weekend of netball by playing host to Surrey Storm at the Allam Sports Centre before taking on their neighbours across the Pennines, Manchester Thunder at the Leeds First Direct Arena on Sunday afternoon.

Monday night will see Loughborough Lightning welcome Team Bath Netball to the Sir David Wallace Arena in what’s sure to be a high-quality game, with both teams currently sitting in the top four ahead of the weekend.

Lightning are currently second in the table, just three points behind leaders Thunder and you can watch the action live on Sky Sports Main Event. Here’s where you can catch all the games:

Leeds Rhinos v Surrey Storm, Friday 7pm, Allam Sports Centre – buy tickets here

The first match of Round 17 has two mid-table teams pitting it out for points.

Rhinos sit 7th in the table after 16 rounds and take on Storm who are just one place, and three points, above them in 6th.

Storm returned to winning ways with a 55-52 win over Strathclyde Sirens in Round 16, but followed it up with defeat to Wasps and will be looking to bounce back and keep their faint Play-Off hopes alive.

Rhinos will be looking to avoid three defeats on the spin after losses to Lightning and a rejuvenated Wasps as they look to solidify a top eight finish.

Centre pass is at 7pm and you can watch the highlights on the VNSL YouTube Channel.

Celtic Dragons v Severn Stars, Saturday 4pm – Live on Sky Sports YouTube, Sports Wales National Centre – buy tickets here

Saturday continues the theme with Celtic Dragons bottom of the table on six points playing 10th-placed Severn Stars who are currently on nine points.

Stars had a 54-49 victory over Sirens last weekend and will be looking to make it two wins on the bounce, whereas Dragons come in refreshed after a week off from competition.

Dragons lost narrowly to high-flying London Pulse in Round 15, continuing their pattern of close defeats, and will want to get over the line against Stars to put the pressure on sides above them.

Centre pass is at 4pm and can be caught live on Sky Sports YouTube.

Strathclyde Sirens v Saracens Mavericks, Sunday 2pm, Emirates Arena – buy tickets here

Both teams suffered losses in Round 16, with Mavericks narrowly missing out to Team Bath by one goal.

Two losses in one weekend will see Mavericks with a hunger for victory leading into the penultimate weeks of competition, with the Hertfordshire side still in with a chance of qualifying for the Play-Offs.

Sirens are looking to turn around a run of four defeats, with their last victory coming in Round 12 against Rhinos.

Centre pass is at 2pm with highlights on the VNSL YouTube channel.

Leeds Rhinos v Manchester Thunder, Round 17, Sunday 4pm – live on Sky Sports YouTube, First Direct Arena – buy tickets here

In 2021, Leeds Rhinos and Manchester Thunder went head-to-head in the finals, with the latter coming out on top.

This season, Thunder are the team to beat again as they sit atop the Vitality Netball Superleague, while Rhinos are down in seventh.

Thunder remain unbeaten with just four games to play, most recently beating Team Bath after recording a record 88 goals against Wasps in Round 15.

Rhinos will be playing their second game of the round as they look to finish as high as possible.

Centre pass is at 4pm and you can catch all the action live on Sky Sports YouTube.

Loughborough Lightning v Team Bath Netball, Monday 5.30pm – live on Sky Sports Main Event/Mix/Arena, Sir David Wallace Arena – buy tickets here

The round finishes with two of the top four teams going head-to-head in the first of Monday’s games.

Lightning collected two wins on the road last week, with their rescheduled fixture against Rhinos ending with a 71-56 victory to the visitors before a hard-fought 59-51 win against Mavericks.

For Team Bath, they are looking to claim a scalp that would be a huge boost to their Play-Off hopes after defeat to Thunder in Round 16.

The game starts at 5.30pm and will be live on Sky Sports Main Event.

Celtic Dragons v Wasps, Monday 7.30pm, Sport Wales National Centre – buy tickets here

And to round off the action on Monday night, Celtic Dragons play host for the second time this week as Wasps travel to Sport Wales National Centre.

Wasps come into the game with a 65-52 win over Surrey Storm last week having seen a turn in form in recent weeks as they look to ensure qualification for Fast 5s with a top eight finish.

Dragons will hope to be hot on their heels, however. Despite sitting at the foot of the table, the Welsh side have put in some good performances and have been close to claiming some big results, and will be hoping they can get themselves over the line on a few occasions before the end of the season.

Centre pass is at 7.30pm and highlights will be on the VNSL YouTube channel.
