Netball Super League | Vitality Netball Superleague: Where to watch Round 19

It’s the penultimate week of the Vitality Netball Superleague and tensions are high with a playoff place still up for grabs.

However, there are still a few rounds of battle left before the Grand Final on June 5.

Here’s how to ensure you stay up to date with all the action this weekend.

Round 19 gets going on Friday night at the Team Bath Arena.

Team Bath Netball currently sit fourth in the table but are still to secure their playoff place with Saracens Mavericks only three points behind them with two games left.

Wasps lost 54-52 to Loughborough Lightning last week in a narrow thriller that saw the lead change hands multiple times.

Leeds Rhinos v Saracens Mavericks – Saturday, 3pm, live on Sky Sports

The first of a packed Saturday line-up of four fixtures, Leeds Rhinos host Saracens Mavericks at the Allam Sports Centre.

With a one goal victory over Severn Stars in Round 18, Rhinos moved one place behind Mavericks in the table.

Mavericks come in off the back of a 54-50 home win against Surrey Storm and a 61-53 loss away to table toppers Manchester Thunder.

Saturday’s clash starts at 3pm and will be live on Sky Sports YouTube.

Celtic Dragons v Strathclyde Sirens – Saturday, 4pm

Celtic Dragons host Strathclyde Sirens at the Sport Wales National Centre in a bid to move further away from the bottom of the table.

Dragons currently sit 10th, level on points with Severn Stars but ahead on goal difference whilst Sirens sit in ninth with a comfortable distance of six points between them and their hosts.

Both teams come into the match off the back of losses and will be looking to finish their season on a high.

Loughborough Lightning v Severn Stars – Saturday, 6pm

Loughborough Lightning host Severn Stars as they continue their chase of Manchester Thunder’s table lead.

Lightning are only three points behind first place but with a substantially lower goal difference.

Stars currently hold the spot at the bottom of the table but will be proud of their performance against Leeds Rhinos last week as they held them to a one goal game.

Surrey Storm v London Pulse – Saturday, 6pm

Surrey Storm will look to bounce back after their loss on the road when hosting London Pulse this weekend.

Storm were overcome by Saracens Mavericks in a 54-50 victory in Round 18.

London Pulse come into their last away game with a well-earned 57-41 victory over Strathclyde Sirens.

London Pulse v Manchester Thunder – Monday, 5.30pm, live on Sky Sports

Round 19 concludes on Monday night as top of the table battles it out against third live on Sky Sports Arena.

Both teams have already secured their place in the playoffs, but Pulse will be playing their second game in three days with a double-booked weekend of netball.

And this match will be the perfect opportunity to make a statement leading into the final round.

Thunder are currently on an 18-week winning streak after a 61-53 victory over Saracens Mavericks.

Monday’s match starts at 5.30pm and will be live on Sky Sports Arena.
