Share Surrey Storm have announced the signing of Centre/Wing Attack Beth Dix ahead of the 2024 Netball Super League season. The 24-year-old joins from Strathclyde Sirens, where last year she was co-captain and was an integral part of the club since joining ahead of the 2021 season. In 2023 she had the third highest feed in the league with 496. Dix is used to playing in duck egg blue as she was a part of the Surrey Storm pathway, before moving to Saracens Mavericks and Wasps. As a teenager, Dix was also a part of the England Dodgeball team. She made her debut at the 2014 European Championships in Vienna, and went on to captain her country and lift a World Cup. On joining Surrey Storm, Dix said: “I couldn’t be more excited about joining Storm for the upcoming season. “I loved my time in the pathway set-up at Storm. I’m excited to be returning to try and achieve great things as a team and individually this year. “It’s going to be a big change for me personally after living in Scotland for the past four years, but the best things happen outside your comfort zone and I’m ready to work hard on and off the court to make it happen.” Director of Netball, Mikki Austin commented: “We are incredibly excited to announce Beth Dix will be representing the Duck Egg blue in 2024. Beth is no stranger to our colors as a product of the Surrey Storm pathway in her youth days. “Beth is an incredible competitor with a ferocious work ethic. We cannot wait to see Beth combine with our attack next season.” Keep up with all the latest movements during the Signing Window via our 2024 Squads page.
