Player Bio

Bethan Dyke’s career is bookended by dragons and so it should come as no surprise she is one of the most fierce competitors in the Netball Super League.

Dyke started her junior career at Pen-y-Bont Dragons and, in 2025, will line up for LexisNexis Cardiff Dragons after moving from Team Bath.

The wing attack and centre captained Team Bath in their final NSL season, while she has also played for Severn Stars.

The PE teacher made her NSL debut for the Dragons, then known as Celtic Dragons back in 2013 before stints in Worcester and Bath.

Her debut season was one to celebrate, as Dragons made their first - and so far only - Grand Final where they lost to Team Bath.

Dyke has been a long servant for the Welsh Feathers, making her debut aged 19 in 2014 and has gone to represent her country more than 70 times.

Plenty of those international appearances have also come on the biggest stages, including three Commonwealth Games and two World Cups in 2015 and 2023.

Dyke was named Wales captain, firstly serving as co-captain with Nia Jones before taking over the reins entirely following Jones’ retirement.

Dyke, who was born on Christmas Day, is raring to go for the 2025 season: “It’s an extremely exciting time for netball.

“The professionalisation will have a positive impact on us all and I can’t wait for season 2024/25.”
