Player Bio
Beth Brittain leads NIC Leeds Rhinos with the same relentlessness she brings onto the court.
Brittain has established herself as one of the leading feeders in the Netball Super League over the past few seasons, and hopes to have found her home in Yorkshire.
The wing attack has enjoyed spells at Wasps, Strathclyde Sirens, and Surrey Storm over the past couple of seasons and arrives at Rhinos having gained plenty of experience.
Brittain was appointed captain ahead of the 2025 season, and revealed she was thrilled to be given the role.
“I am honoured and a little bit shocked,” she said. “We have quite a few natural leaders, I feel like anyone could have been picked.”
Brittain came through the pathways at Saracens Mavericks and Wasps, combining her netball with dodgeball as a youngster.
She represented England’s mixed and women’s dodgeball teams on the international stage, and became a two-time World Cup winner at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City.
“With my netball background I was one of the only girls running towards the ball and trying to catch it instead of trying to dodge it, so that probably flagged me up straight away,” she told The Yorkshire Post.
Brittain ultimately ended up concentrating on netball, and played for the University of Hertfordshire during her studies.
She made her Super League debut for Wasps in the 2017 season and then moved to Sirens in 2020, where she became a key part of the Scottish franchise.
A year at Storm then followed, before she made the switch to Rhinos.
Outside of netball, Brittain is a marketing manager.
