Player Bio
Darcie Everitt is an exciting young defender with bags of potential.
The goal keeper is learning her trade at London Pulse, where came through the pathway to make her Netball Super League debut as an 18 year old during the 2024 season.
The 2024 campaign was Everitt’s first as a contracted Super League player, having been a training partner in the previous season.
Her performances were good enough to earn a place in Sam Bird’s squad of 10 for the 2025 season, with the teenager determined to continue to learn from the likes of Halimat Adio, Funmi Fadoju and big sister Zara in Pulse’s defensive unit.
Everitt revealed playing alongside her sister is helping her develop her own career in the Super League and beyond.
She said: “I have always looked up to Zara and having her next to me is quite inspiring. It is nice to also have someone to always look to pass to and be there to support me the whole way.
“What she has achieved has made me want to push to get into the Super League. It has been really helpful to have her there as extra motivation.”
Everitt has also been part of the England pathway throughout her youth career, where she was regularly included in the Roses Academy programme after starting her career at Turnford Netball Club.
She was part of the Under-21 side at the Europe Netball U21 tournament in 2023 and toured Australia with England Under-21s in January 2025.
Everitt also captained Team England at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Trinidad & Tobago in 2023, where they won a bronze medal.
Everitt completed her A Level studies during the 2024 season and is now balancing her Super League commitments alongside her studies at Loughborough University, where she represents the university’s netball side.
