Player Bio
Emma Rayner is an exciting attacker who is ready to step up to the plate for Manchester Thunder.
Rayner progressed through the Thunder pathway and made her Netball Super League debut in 2022, winning the Netball Super League title in the same season.
Since then, she has been regularly around the Thunder squad, serving as a training partner in 2024 before making the step up to a full contract ahead of the 2025 season.
Rayner joined the Roses Academy in 2018, where she won Under-17 Netball Europe gold.
She continued to progress through the Roses pathway, and was selected for the Future Roses programme in 2023. She was included once again in the 2024-25 cohort.
Rayner represented England at the Fast5 World Netball Series in New Zealand in 2024.
Rayner joined the Thunder pathway aged 13, having begun her netball journey at YWCA Bury in Manchester.
