Player Bio

Ugandan star Falidah Kadondi was announced as a Nottingham Forest player back in September 2024 and is committed to winning titles with her new team.

The She Cranes international is pivotal to her side at goal keeper and helped Uganda to a fifth-place finish at the 2023 Netball World Cup in South Africa.

Her performances resulted in a road being named in her honour back in her hometown of Butaleja district, Uganda.

Prior to that, she represented her country during the 2022 Fast5 Netball World Series, earning Player of the Match against Australia in the process.

In November 2024, Kadondi’s stellar performance was instrumental in Uganda’s 46-42 win over South Africa in the bronze-medal match at that year’s Fast5 Netball World Series. Her exploits on the court earned her the Player of the Match award.

Kadondi joins Nottingham Forest Netball from Uganda’s Weyonje Netball Club and has also represented KCCA Leopards in the National Basketball League – demonstrating her multi-court skills.

Her move from Uganda to play professional netball in the UK demonstrates Kadondi’s commitment to the sport and for wanting to promote Ugandan netball to new audiences.
