Player Bio

With one year in the Netball Super League under her belt, Indya Masser is taking on a new challenge in 2025.

The wing attack and centre broke through at Saracens Mavericks and made her Super League debut in February 2024 but will don the yellow of Manchester Thunder in 2025.

Masser initially planned to spend the 2025 campaign as part of Birmingham Panthers’ NXT Gen squad, but became the first player to be pulled up when she was selected by Thunder to permanently replace Nat Metcalf.

Thunder head coach Karen Greig said: "She has a great netball smarts and assesses what’s needed in the moment very well and that’s exactly what is needed at this point so close to the start of the season."

It is the latest exciting step forward for the youngster, having previously played in the Loughborough Lightning pathway before switching to Mavericks ahead of the 2024 season.

She initially signed as a training partner before she stepped up to the full squad, and impressed throughout her debut NSL season.

Masser was named Coaches' Player of the Season and Supporters' Player of the Season, showcasing how she is a fan favourite both on and off the court.

With her move to Thunder, Masser now has her eyes set on honing her craft under new leadership and experience.

She said: "This is an incredible opportunity, and I’m looking forward to embracing this challenge, learning from my experienced teammates, and contributing to our collective success on the court."
