Player Bio
Jasmine Brown has rapidly established herself as one of the Netball Super League’s toughest goal keepers, despite having just two seasons of senior netball under her belt.
Brown grew up playing tennis and even played on the courts at Wimbledon before switching to netball in 2019.
It was a decision that would prove wise, with Brown rapidly rising up the ranks before making her NSL debut in 2023 for Severn Stars.
She then established herself as a regular starter under Jo Trip in 2024 as Stars finished in the top four for the first time, with her 72 gains the fourth most in the league.
Her performances were recognised with a place in the 2024 All Star VII.
Brown was reunited with Trip at Birmingham Panthers ahead of the 2025 season.
The Yorkshire native, who has both Australian and Jamaican heritage, was a prodigious tennis talent but eventually felt isolated and wanted to play a team sport. She chose netball and has never looked back.
Brown began her netball journey at Doncaster Rebels before joining Charnwood after moving to the Midlands to study sports psychology at Loughborough University.
She enjoyed plenty of success there too, winning back-to-back BUCS titles alongside a host of other players that have broken into the NSL.
Her fine performances have also been recognised at international level, with the goal keeper included in the Future Roses squad for 2024-25.
Brown was also named in the England A squad as part of the Vitality Roses’ preparations for the Vitality Netball Nations Cup in January 2025.
