Player Bio
Nichole Breedt will hope to build on a strong first season with London Pulse in 2025.
Breedt was a key part of Pulse’s run to third last season, where they beat Severn Stars in the third-place play-off after falling to eventual champions Loughborough Lightning in the last four.
Confident as both a wing attack and goal attack, she scored 119 goals for Pulse in 2024 with an 89% success rate.
“When I went over to the UK I had a lot of expectations,” she said.
“I thought the league was so big, everyone wants to go play there, it’s professional and we are getting paid to do this and it was lovely. Where I was in London with Pulse, it is so big."
Renowned as one of the sharpest shooters in the Super League, Breedt has 29 international caps for South Africa and won two player of the match awards at the 2023 World Cup on home soil.
She credits Marie Falou, Gretel Tipet and Cat Lutu for influencing her netball journey – in particular crediting Falou for how calm and composed she was when shooting regardless of where she was on the court.
