Player Bio
Paige Reed is a versatile attacker who stars for both Manchester Thunder and England.
Comfortable at both goal attack and goal shooter, Reed signed for Thunder ahead of the 2024 season where she helped her side reach the Netball Super League Grand Final.
Reed has swathes of Super League experience, having made her NSL debut in 2018 for Team Bath.
She then moved to Severn Stars, where she made over 40 appearances before spending a season at NIC Leeds Rhinos.
Reed came through the Roses pathway as a youngster, representing England at Under-19 and Under-21 level.
She was a travelling reserve for the 2017 Netball World Youth Cup in Botswana.
She first joined the Future Roses programme for the 2018-19 season, and rejoined after becoming a regular starter for Stars in the NSL.
Reed earned her first Vitality Roses call-up in 2022 and represented England at the 2022 Fast5 Netball World Series in New Zealand.
She represented England again at the 2023 Fast5 Netball World Series, and was named Player of the Series.
Reed then made her senior international debut in February 2025 against Malawi, and was named Player of the Match. She went on to help England clinch a series victory at the Vitality Netball Nations Cup.
The Gloucester native began her career at Hucclecote Netball Club.
Reed is never too far away from the netball court, she works as Head of Performance Netball at the University of Nottingham.
