Player Bio
Zara Everitt brings unending energy and strong leadership to London Pulse.
Everitt was voted Pulse captain by her teammates for the fourth straight year ahead of the 2025 season, with the Vitality Rose hoping to get her hands on the Netball Super League trophy for the first time.
Everitt has already earned an early taste of silverware this season, as Pulse won the inaugural Netball Super Cup in March 2025.
The defender has become a key player for Sam Bird since signing for Pulse ahead of the 2020 season, racking up over 80 appearances in pink and is now one of the first names on the team sheet at wing defence, though she can also be deployed at goal defence.
She led Pulse to a fourth-place finish in 2022 and captained her side in the 2023 Grand Final, where they were defeated by Loughborough Lightning.
Everitt began her Super League career at Hertfordshire Mavericks, where she made her debut in 2017 before moving to Loughborough Lightning for the 2018 and 2019 seasons, finishing fourth in 2019.
She balanced Super League netball alongside her studies for a law degree at the University of Oxford, where she also captained the university netball team and was awarded a Full Blue.
She then completed a master’s degree in law and business from the University of Law, and now works as a trainee solicitor.
Everitt represented England at Under-17, Under-19, and Under-21, captaining both Under-19 and Under-21 sides before making her senior Vitality Roses debut in 2022.
Everitt captained England at the 2024 Fast5 Netball World Series, having previously represented her country at the same event in 2022.
She was recalled to the Vitality Roses squad for the Vitality Netball Nations Cup in 2025.
Everitt first played netball for MK Netters, and plays alongside younger sister Darcie at Pulse.
